Free Coffee!

I really love Mail Chimp, the service I use for internet marketing. And since they're celebrating their 10th birthday on August 20th with free coffee, I thought I'd share the happy news. Here's the list :)

Wowza. Just like that. With a snap of my fingers, I've been MIA from this blog for exactly a month. Gone from my husband for two weeks (and another mounting). And even longer from my freelance dreams. Don't get me wrong, I'm freelancing right now but back in Chicago.

It's funny. I'm busier now than I ever was when I had a full time gig. In the last two months I've been paid to design and package a full wedding invitation suite, do research, style on a photo shoot, write a blog and do graphic design. And here I thought I'd be twiddling my thumbs. So much for that theory. I'll be back. Soon. Promise. xo

It's with great pleasure that I can say that I'm home, once again, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Everything's better and brighter than I remembered and it's because we were away for seven years. Had we stayed, I wouldn't have noticed that the clouds mimic the statuesque trees or how sprawling the lawns are or how varied the florals are here. People say hello in the street and I haven't gotten the Finger yet, only waves to go first. How refreshing! There's lots more to come but unpacking and settling in comes first. Stay tuned.
